Our parent company is SMD groups was founded in 1934 in Surandai and known for its wholesale food business, offering a red chilli, rice, jaggery at competitive prices. In response to the evolving needs of the community, we decided to launch a new venture that combined both textiles and a full supermarket experience under one roof in the name of Karthika stores. This bold step was driven by a desire to offer convenience and variety to the people of Alangulam, who often had to visit multiple stores to fulfill their shopping needs.
